The climate of a school plays a very important role in the achievement of the student. Undeniably, the principals are the most important factor in setting the climate of the school. The style of the principal’s leadership impact the school climate as their leadership style impacts a high quality educational environment. It sets the tone for the school’s environment that further leads to increased student achievement. After all, the student achievement is everyone’s utmost priority. It makes it important to identify the leadership styles of the principals that positively affect the climate.

The principals need to be highly cognizant of leadership styles or behaviors that enhance the climate of the school. They need to embrace those styles that help the assistant principals to perceive as a positive influence on the school climate.
