Formerly serving as an Assistant Principal at Bladensburg High School, Tawfik Adams helped in providing leadership for overall instructional programs. It included selection and hiring of support and instructional staff. Besides, he enforced board policies, administrative procedures and school-wide mandates. Tawfik also helped in the development and the communication of administrative policies dealing with academic, discipline, and attendance.

Pertaining to the certifications Tawfik has received, he holds Maryland Advanced Professional Certificate in Endorsements: Admin I and II, and History. Regarding his education credentials, Tawfik Adams completed his Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from Bowie State University. He received the dissertation of the Year Award for “Determining the Relationship of Principal’s Leadership Styles (Transformational, Transactional, Laissez-Faire) on Teacher Job Satisfaction at Various Career Stages”.
