Gaining extensive expertise in administrative skills, Tawfik Adams always worked to represent the school personnel for the purpose of monitoring the performance, providing for professional growth and achieving the overall objectives. He worked for implementing the policies, procedures and processes for the purpose of providing direction and complying with mandated requirements.

Thus, with a keen interest in the success of the school and a desire to equip the students with the best, Tawfik Adams possesses various attributes and qualities as an aspiring educational administrator. Highly objective, organized and a problem solver, Tawfik is passionate about education, thus making a sustained difference.

Being highly passionate about education, Tawfik Adams served as Assistant Principal at Oxon Hill High School in 2011 where he represented the school within community forums for the purpose of maintaining ongoing community support for educational goals. He also assisted with the issues related to school environment.

He was formerly employed as the assistant principal at Bladensburg High School where Tawfik helped in providing the leadership for the overall instructional programs that included selection and hiring of support and instructional staff. Besides, he enforced board policies, administrative procedures and school-wide mandates. Tawfik also helped in the development and the communication of administrative policies dealing with academic, discipline, and attendance.

Tawfik got employed as an Instructional Specialist at High School Consortium where he collaborated with the school principals to regularly analyze the school wide data plan the interventions and make the curricular adjustments. He also observed the lessons and provided targeted and actionable feedback to the teachers. He is a skilled multi-tasker and an excellent time manager with ability to effectively achieve multiple goals and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pertaining to the accomplishments Tawfik has made, he received the dissertation of the Year Award for “Determining the Relationship of Principal’s Leadership Styles (Transformational, Transactional, Laissez-Faire) on Teacher Job Satisfaction at Various Career Stages”.

Completing Bachelor of Arts in United States History from Western Connecticut State University, Tawfik Adams gained skills to make a successful administrative career. Thereafter, he attended University of Bridgeport to complete Masters Degree in Secondary Education. Pertaining to the certifications he has received, Tawfik possesses Maryland Advanced Professional Certificate in Endorsements that included Admin I and II, and History.
