Many of you must have heard about Rotary International which is an international service organization whose purpose is to bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian service and to advance goodwill and peace around the world.

Mr. Sandeep Karnavat has served Vice President of Rotary International, District 3140, and has carried out several many works during his Tenure from 2011-2014. Having been engaged with Thane City, through several public and private works, Mr. Sandeep Karnavatwas instrumental in leading vision 2020 for Thane District.

Mr. Karnavat led the initiative Fire and Life Safety in association with the Fire Department of Thane City. The initiative focused on ensuring fire inspection, safety and emergency procedures are in place for Emergencies in High and Tall structures. During this time, the Fire Department Tested and Carried out successful rescue operations from balconies of 16th – 19th Floors of Residential Towers.

Mr. Sandeep Karnavat also proposed several new projects to the Thane Municipal Corporation on behalf of Rotary International District 3140, to channelize and institutionalize work and projects for students graduating out of colleges. Mr. Sandeep Karnavat also leveraged his network to bring together business leaders and industry experts on panels for people in the community to gain exceptional skills and network.

Most importantly, he diligently performed his duties as a Vice-president of Rotary International and was awarded Best Rotarian Three Years in a row for this outstanding service to the Rotary Club.

He has been a successful real estate builder as well as director of Sunjana Developers he has contributed tremendously to transform the look of the Eastern Express highway with the 30,000 sq.ft. of Garden Island. The Garden Island has been developed in partnership with the Thane Municipal Corporation to propagate TMC's initiative of "Green Thane, Clean Thane.

Garden has been developed keeping in mind the five hundred families residing along the Eastern Express Highway that have no access to any common amenity, to meet and enjoy.
