WHO: Global economist and cryptocurrency queen, Dr. Jewel Tankard is hosting the 2021 Millionairess Conference at Bell Mill Mansion in Ooltewah TN, right outside of Chattanooga, TN. Dr. Jewel grew up wealthy, the daughter of the first Black business owners in Downtown Detroit MI. When her parents lost everything when she was 19, Dr. Jewel committed to becoming a student of economics, vowing that she would never let a lack of financial literacy and wealth-building leave her or her family penniless again.

WHAT: The Millionairess Conference is an annual event where women from all walks of life gather for a weekend of innovation and technology related to all things finances, wealth, sisterhood, and self-care. The event theme for 2021 is the Esther Experience, where spa and self-care services will be a part of the conference agenda each day. Limited to 50 guests, this year’s conference will have more of a retreat feel.

WHEN: The Millionairess Conference will be held May 20-23, 2021. On Thursday, May 20th at 6 pm there will be a formal press junket with Dr. Tankard and VIP guests. On Friday, May 21 from 10 am-5 pm, Dr. Tankard welcomes all conference attendees and kicks off the first full day of conference workshops, keynotes, and self-care services. Media is invited back this day for b-roll footage, photos, and attendee interviews.

WHY: A portion of the proceeds help fund The Jewel Tankard Foundation, which empowers and educates women, promotes confidence and financial literacy while offering support to single mothers and victims of domestic violence. This event and venue will host many stunning visuals for video and photography. The conference attendees range from single mothers on fixed incomes to established women multi-millionaires!

ABOUT: A global economist trained by the University of Michigan combined with hard-earned experience, Jewel Tankard is the star and matriarch of Bravo’s hit reality series “Thicker Than Water.” The wife of Gospel Jazz Musician Ben Tankard, Jewel Tankard is a pastor and business mogul who desires to see women and families live their dreams by obtaining financial freedom. Amidst her financial pursuits, Jewel maintains involvement in her community as a board member of the Rutherford County Domestic Violence Shelter in Murfreesboro, TN.
