Yes, currently, there is a check on the gathering of people, and we are experiencing a 21 days Lockdown across the nation in all sectors. It is also true that COVID 19 patients do not require blood, but we should not also forget that hospitals have patients with other ailments already admitted or being admitted who are in dire requirement of blood in several units. Large units of blood are required for Dialysis patients regularly. Not only Dialysis, but several other illnesses need to be treated on an urgent basis, and blood becomes necessary in large units. Side by side to being an IT service provider to businesses across the globe since 2011, Swadesh Softwares has always shown immense responsibility towards the society. This time, through Blood Donation Camp on 11th April 2020, Swadesh has come forward to solely support the Hospitals and Blood Banks with blood that could help them in times of emergencies. This camp will be conducted while following all the guidelines of Social Distancing set by the Govt. and they are expecting a good lot of citizens to turn up breaking every myth. Anyone and everyone who are not under home isolation or quarantine can donate blood in this camp. The blood donation camp will be conducted in collaboration with The Mission Hospital, Durgapur under the strict guidance and vigilance of expert doctors and pathologists. This will not only encourage Volunteer donors to step forward and donate but will also help in erasing false notions from our minds related to Blood Donation during the Coronavirus pandemic outbreak.
