Last week, Facebook announced the launch of a new advertising strategy that will involve the reading of your browser history.

Yep. You read that correctly. Facebook will now be able to read your browser history in order to target ads more specifically to you. It’s hardly what we want to hear from a company that’s already been plagued with privacy concerns.

Over the next few weeks, Facebook will unroll its new preferences. On every advert that you see, you’ll be able to click on “About this Ad” to find out why you’re seeing it. In essence, this allows you to help Facebook to sell your information to third parties. This is crazy.
