Vishal Group, one of the leading conglomerates based in Nepal, donated a sum of Rs 10 million in order to support the Government to aid the public health and to cope up with the crisis. The group made the donation through VG Foundation, which is their specialized wing for executing various social works and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
Earlier Vishal Group also distributed N95 masks, hand sanitizers, PPE kits and various other medical supplies to Bir Hospital, Thapathali Hospital (Prashuti Griha) and Kanti Bal Hospital and several quarantine centers all over Nepal.
‘‘We are incredibly proud of all the people who are committed to providing support to those dealing with this crisis and experiencing its impact,” said Tulsi Kumar Agrawal, the Vice-President of Vishal Group. He also added ‘From medical professionals to the general public, we hope this support will help provide some relief.’
Vishal Group also immensely appreciates the tremendous effort being made by the Government of Nepal to control the situation and stop the spread of the virus. Vishal Group stood with the nation to contribute towards the welfare of the economy and to help the country during the moment of crisis.
Vishal Group’s VG Foundation is now working with international suppliers to supply N95 masks, hand sanitizers, Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) kits, Infrared Thermometers and other medical supplies – to supply to various medical establishments in Nepal.
