Photography Hobbyist Sells Fine Art Photography for Autism Awareness Fundraising

A hobbyist in the photography industry changed his entire structure to focus from a hobby of photographing landscapes and turned it into a way to rise funding and awareness for Autism.

Father and photography hobbyist turned his “captures” into a fundraising project for Autism awareness called “Captures for a Cause”. The money made from landscape photography sold by www.Captures4aCause.com will now be donating to various Autism awareness organizations around the world. The fundraising effort was recently initiated because of seeing his Autistic son’s improvements over the years.

After receiving the diagnosis back in 2005, their family has turned our lives upside down. Their primary goal is to raise money for organizations working towards a cure, as trial medicines and techniques are often expensive, not covered by insurance, and not guaranteed to provide any results. According to the CDC, about 1 in 88 children has been identified with an autism related disorder. Through Captures for a Cause, this father hopes to make an impact by fundraising for Autism awareness through the sale of his landscape photography.

Although the fundraising efforts are inspired by his son, William, being diagnosed with Autism, the father hopes to help others going through similar struggles. Because of his first-hand experience, he knows how difficult an Autism diagnosis can be on a family, as it often means changing many day-to-day activities and creating a new way of life. Through Captures for a Cause, they hope to inspire people with artwork on a personal level to help them through even the roughest of times.

Through awareness and fundraising, a cure for Autism can be found, and children like William can get a chance to make a full recovery. Through Captures for a Cause, donations will be made to many non-profit organizations that have the sole purpose of finding a cure for Autism. One day, this father would love to change the name of his website to “Captures that Found the Cure”, with the help of every purchase made. NOTE: We are working with other non profits and churches to help them raise money for their own fundraiser and it STILL benefits autism in the process. So contact me on the site for further information
