‘The Foundation’ is the title of the latest release from Pittsburgh based Bakdraff Entertainment. The album is the first of its kind to combine this many artists and producers from the Pittsburgh region. What makes the project so unique is that in a genre such as Hip Hop, which is known for its fierce competition and rivalries, these artists were able to find common ground through their music. With the help of several independent labels and a long list of local music groups, they came together to produce a product that truly reflects the city they were raised in.

More than twenty different artists and producers contributed to the creation of the album as well as countless amounts of blood, sweat, and tears. From the first track ‘New World’ to the last song ‘Street Love’, the music is a blend of old school Hip Hop and new school sound. With heavy production from local producer ‘Xeno’ the album features songs full of the struggle these artists have had to endure coming up on the streets of Pittsburgh. Considering the amount of people and effort that it took to create an album like this, ‘The Foundation’ is destined to secure its place in Hip Hop history.
