While Calcutta has rightly earned the nickname city of joy for its soulful embodiment of love, mystery, culture and definitely some of the best street food and sweet delicacies, it is also the city that beautifully upholds the most perfect juxtaposition between the old world and the modern one. Even though the residents of Calcutta might have a pretty lazy approach to life with a mandatory afternoon siesta, all the people visiting the city will definitely be mesmerised by the old world charm of this enchanting city.
