Rotary Youth Exchange is a safe, affordable, and amazing study abroad program and scholarship.

Dedicated to students who are up for redefining their world, Rotary NAYEN (North American Youth EXCHANGE Network) offers lucrative Rotary Youth Exchange study abroad programs and scholarships. They all are designed to enable students to explore their hidden potential while finding out about another culture, learning a different language, respecting different people for their differences, and more. Students participating in Rotary Youth Exchange programs get opportunities to become independent and more confident about themselves while living in a foreign country for a specified period. They get to learn something new and exciting every minute of every day.

In response to a query related to Rotary Youth Exchange, its spokesperson in an interview commented, “Foreign student exchange programs are of incredible interest and benefit for students who have an urge to do something different. It is like a challenge to leave the familiar behind and set out for learning the unknown. Students step out from their comfort zone and traverse to new destinations for learning things and meeting people, which is so different from learning from textbooks and school assignments. While experiencing life in another culture and making close friends in a host country, students end up gaining experiences of a lifetime.”

Sponsored by Rotary clubs in more than 100 countries, Rotary Youth Exchange is a foreign student exchange program. Ideal for students who are 15 to 19 years old, these exchanges enable students to become global citizens. The two types of these exchange programs are – long-term exchanges and short-term exchanges. Lasting a full academic year, the long-term exchanges make students attend local schools while they live with multiple host families. The student exchange programs differ from one another; however, most of them include the provision of room and board, as well as school fees.

The spokesperson added, “The four most common types of short-term youth exchanges are homestays, tours, family-to-family, and international youth camps. They vary in length from several days to several weeks and students generally do not attend school in a host country. However, they may be able to tailor the exchange to match their interests or include tours of specific places or regions. To provide students a clear picture of our student exchange programs, we have included the journals of Rotary Youth Exchange study-abroad scholars that are already living their dream on our website.”

The Rotary Youth Exchange high school study abroad scholarships includes hosting by the foreign rotary club on a space available condition, primary tuition and placement in a school approved by the foreign rotary club, homestay accommodation including meals with the host family, and monthly stipend from hosting rotary club. Some other inclusions are airport transfers on arrival and departure, 24-hour worldwide emergency assistance throughout the program, secondary travel and medical insurance, and pre-departure and some in-country orientations.
