Some of them are Oriented strand board, veneered plywood siding and hardboards. This kind of composite siding is the exact imitation of true wood siding but by close inspection you can understand that it is not original wood. The cellulosic particles are uniform and because of that it is difficult to identify composite wood siding from original wood siding. Since these siding are man-made, it is designed to meet the specific requirements of the application.

These sidings come as long panels. You can install these panels to the exterior seamlessly and easily. So composite wood siding is popular among the customers. You have many options to install these sidings such as vertically, horizontally and as shingles. The joints of this siding can be done in a tongue style, groove or in overlapped manner. The composite siding can be fixed directly to the exterior of the building or by sheathing that can act as a binding material between the siding and the house. The sheathing used can be made of engineered wood or normal wood or as suggested by the installer.

Some houses have wood flooring in every room. Most however feature a mix of wood, carpeting, and tile, if not vinyl and linoleum. Hardwood flooring is relatively expensive, and is not always the best choice for every room in the house, nor is it usually needed in every room.
