Human trafficking is a violation of fundamental human rights. Arrests have been made.

There have been arrests in human trafficking and child trafficking cases in Florida as well as other states in the US. Trafficking is one of the most hidden of Human Rights Abuses.
This is enormously important. It often involves people who are trusted, who have influence, and even public standing and respect in their communities. There have been 106 arrests over several months time in Florida, including someone active in fundraising for athletics in a major Florida university. Trafficking in human beings is slavery. IT TAKES AWAY THE FREE WILL OF THE PERSON. This is particularly awful when it is a child. How does someone look in the mirror when they act this way in lifee?

There is an Universal Declaration of Human Rights. If we are raised with the knowledge that "We are all born free and equal."(the 1st right) then we are less likely to think we can sell someone.
To much of our cultural thinking is till reflective of times when women and children had less rights than men. Even after African Americans were no longer "property" of white men or families, women, white or black, had no right to vote in the United States. Cultural ideas are only changed through education, and starting by teaching very young, and continuing the teaching throughout life. That is how new realities are created. "Human rights must be made a fact, not an idealistic dream.", L. Ron Hubbard. www.youthforhumanrights.org
