When confidence is given, from the authorities to the population, giving them freedom of movement and actions, it places responsibility in the discretion of each person. Those we elect think that we will make the best decision for ourselves and the rest of the people who live around us. One of the positive points that I have actually observed about how the United States government handles the decisions and laws of how to cooperate with its citizens is very interesting, since it starts from the fundamental building block that is trust.

At first, the restrictions of the world quarantine because of Coronavirus, were simply to stay at home to prevent the spread of the virus. People obeyed and went home, companies closed, and to some extent it was possible to contain the spikes of the virus. Then came the next phase, the reopening, with many, many more precautions and limitations so we can gradually rejoin work,and start moving the economy again. This is a super important point for this country, and for the world.

The measures were scheduled at the discretion of the people, hoping they did not have to be mandatory because the common citizen should be able to differentiate and take security measures by themselves. Today the governors of each state are in different situations. Especially in Florida, along with 1o other states where cases are rising to an extremely increased extent, there are points of greater contagion.

Again, new mandatory restrictions have now had to be implemented with fines if the different regulations are not obeyed in order to contract and counteract the spread of the virus. What a change, change in the trust given to the citizen: if you are not willing to follow the rules they will make you obey them. What we are playing right now is not a game, the virus is real and must be contained. And it can be very easy to do, or it can be made much harder to do.
