System Disrupted By Fire...

A system, most simply, is a state or condition of harmonic orderly interaction in a composite whole. That is many parts and pieces acting together to form or create a mutually beneficial product or environment.

The physical and natural world are a system. The interconnectedness of things is real. When there is a disruption in the Brazilian rainforest, and the oxygen is consumed by flame and the living tree which creates this oxygen is burned to cinders, we all experience a collective shortness of breath.

Metaphorical, maybe somewhat, but over a longer time it is a real. If we destroy more of what creates and cleans our air, trees for the most part, and as we put more unbreathable or dangerous particles into the air by burning, we start smothering ourselves by slow means.

This affects the people and animals on every part of our planet, and enters disharmony into the system. Without a working system, we perish. "If others do not help safeguard and improve the environment, the way to happiness could have no roadbed to travel on at all." L. Ron Hubbard.
