This is a story about people. It is about communication and helping. It is a human interest story, which includes all people, all human beings.
More specifically, it is about a lady who drives an eighteen wheeler over the road, and talks to people. I use the word lady, as a specific kind of woman. She takes in a wide realm of others and cares about what goes on. She recognizes the value in a human being. She brings a greater level of decency to the places she goes.

This trucker talks live on social media, putting herself out there. When someone reaches out, she answers, whether it is to talk with someone else traveling a long distance who just wants to shoot the breeze and pass the time, or someone who really needs an ear, a shoulder and a friend. Recently, she received a call thanking her, and it left her moved to tears. She picked herself up and went live to tell the story, not about herself, so much, but to tell everyone she could reach that they needed to take the time to listen to each other; to care about each other. Because the story goes like this: my lady trucker friend saved a life. The time she took to listen to another human being, hear what was happening, and direct their attention to a future and a way out, helped them decide not to die. The person had called to say thank you.

This truck driving Lady is a person of good will. This concept has been part of human culture for a long time. It is part of the codified precepts of The Way to Happiness by L. Ron Hubbard. Precept 11 is "Do not harm a person of good will." So, all you Knights of the Road, truckers that you may be, watch for this Lady.
