Eros the result of Love and Chaos! Happy Valentine's Day

Eros, Greek god of love, born of Aphrodite and Chaos, gives us our creation into the future. We bring our imagined future into being through art and sex.

Celebrate love! Celebrate that part of our lives in which we create the future: eros.  Eros, Greek god of love, born of Aphrodite and Chaos, gives us our creation into the future. We bring our imagined future into being through art and sex.

Eros marries Psyche, who is the soul, the breath, the spirit, the animating force. With love we tame the chaos that resides in Eros. In Greek mythology Eros is a young man, perhaps in his late teens, with wings.and his mate, Psyche, is a woman so beautiful that she awakens jealousy in Aphrodite, the goddess of love.

Take a look at jealousy. We open ourselves when we love. We are vulnerable in the world as we raise offspring beyond their time of helplessness into self reliance. The desire to rely on our mate is not a selfish instinct. It is born of deep survival realities.  So we have, "Be faithful to your sexual partner. Unfaithfulness on the part of a sexual partner can heavily reduce one's survival.", L. Ron Hubbard.  With faith in one another, create, make love, and relish life.

So!  It is February! Celebrate love! Hallelujah.
