Capes and Feathers to Create Some Play During Coronavirus

This is still the weirdest year on record, as everyone keeps saying, Coronavirus times are odd times. What extremes of designs for masks can we come up with?

Coronavirus, I am tired of you being a player in my life! I think you really should make the decision to move on, find another planet to haunt with chaos. Please.

This is still the weirdest year on record, as everyone keeps saying. Coronavirus times are odd times. Let us make it our inspiration! What are the extremes of mask designs and face shield designs. We could have themed contests, maybe first inspired by old Venice, and then take an entirely different slant, and go Bauhaus, all clean lines and functional. Then there are all the Asian aesthetics, and so many indigenous cultures have amazing art crafted into their daily living.

If we are going to deal with these added accessories, we should take joy in the creation of them. And if this is going to continue to go on, perhaps a kind of paper garment we put on over our clothes when we go out, that we can take off and toss out. They could be wearable more than one time, depending, but colors and patterns and shapes are endless. We can have kimonos and capes and coveralls, big baggy pants or swing coats. It is endless.
It can be beautiful. We can play, or be serene, and maybe even flirtatious. Why not ruffles?

And we could still protect one another. See the Stay Well public service announcements at the Volunteer Minister's website. "Something can be done about it.", L.Ron Hubbard. www.volunteerministers.org
