An Imperfect Substitute for Isolation Gives us More Freedom - Coronavirus

Yes, gloves and masks are an imperfect substitute for true isolation, but who wants isolation?

Yes, masks and gloves are a far from perfect way to isolate one's body from germs, toxins, Coronavirus, and anything else out there floating through the air or resting on a surface.
They are tools and must be used appropriately to be effective. A mask that does not cover both your nose and mouth will not protect you at all, no matter the size of the airborne particle or what might be on your hand or glove when you scratch your nose. If something is on your glove, and you take it off correctly, at that point you will cease spreading around whatever it is. And wearing gloves will protect your manicure, so there is a bonus. There are women who wear gloves to work on their cars or paint their houses, just to protect their expensive "claws". A very nice secondary benefit.

If you are wearing your mask, and the others around you are wearing theirs, it multiplies the safety. You are then not spreading around your germs, they are not spreading theirs, and you are less likely to breath in any of theirs that might escape. See how that works? "Take care of yourself." L. Ron Hubbard says in The Way To Happiness. It starts there. You help others when you take care of yourself. www.thewaytohappiness.org @waytohappinesstampa
