Freedom seems to be a topic of hot debate right now. What is it? Who has it? Where is it? Which freedom of others knocks into ours much too hard for comfort?
Accountability and responsibility go along with freedom unless you are entirely alone, and even then, if you are sharing my planet I care what you do to it and with it. In fact, I care how you are and what you do. There is responsibility. This is a necessary component to having a free society. There is also help. To see who is around us, and what is around us, and offering succor, a hand up, a road to creating a purposeful and productive life. And then, if you were on the receipt point of the help, turn around and offer your hand to the next one. It is one of those amazing things, you will find that helping others is a deep help of oneself. Whatever your religion, this is a spiritual truth. We are each Life.

In the United States right now there is a dramatic split of opinion, but even more so, it is a difference of point of view of what is the best way to safeguard our specific freedoms, and our overriding reality of an actual state of being free.
