2020 Sees Trust Agreement and Accord Torn Apart and Scattered

So before the structure we have built for ourselves by agreement, accord and trust is completely pulled apart and scattered to the winds, perhaps we should find the points of truth that are somewhere underlying everything.

What is agreement? I thought I would inquire; so much is at odds with the usual manner of agreements in our lives right now. So interesting... The first definition that was served to me by my search engine says "harmony or accordance in opinion or feeling". Just the most lovely, soothing consideration of the word. I started to relax, the knots in my shoulders released their hold, I could breath. Then came, "understanding and acceptance of reciprocal legal rights and duties as to particular actions or obligations..." it goes on. My stomach soured. My shoulders rose to my ears.

Words are our attempt to encapsulate concepts, thoughts and feelings. Then I find the root word means "to please" or "ad gratum". Oh my goodness. No wonder we find fewer agreements
these days. So many of us have no desire to please so many others it can be almost painful.

"Mutual trust is the firmest building block in human relationships. Without it, the whole structure comes down.",observes L. Ron Hubbard in The Way To Happiness. It seems like we are watching civil agreements drop like leaves. Some gently drifting down and some swirling and driven as by a tempest. Missing in daily life right now is that sense of harmony and accord.
So before the structure we have built for ourselves by agreement, accord and trust is completely pulled apart and scattered to the winds, perhaps we should find the points of truth that are somewhere underlying everything.
