[Singapore, 26/05/2017] – James Cook University Singapore, an overseas partner of James Cook University Australia, offers a postgraduate course in Interactive Technologies and Games Design under the Master of Informational Technology program.

The Course and Program
The Interactive Technologies and Games Design is a 16-month specialisation course under the Master of Informational Technology program that focuses on both the front and back-end integration of interactive technologies. It aims to provide pathways to employment for the graduates who have technological and software engineering skills that apply to games design execution.
The Master of Information Technology program is fully accredited by the Australian Computer Society at the highest level. IT students have memberships with two professional bodies outside the campus including the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Singapore Computer Society (SCS).

Course Structure
There are three trimesters in a school year, with four subjects each trimester. The entire course requires a completion of 16 subjects which include foundation subjects, core subjects and elective subjects.

• E-Strategic Management
• Database Modelling
Core subjects, both majors and major-specific, include:
• ICT Project 1: Analysis and Design
• ICT Project 2: Implementation and Commissioning

• Advanced Human Computer Interaction
• Advanced Game Design
• E-Business Technologies
