Maraley is a brand to reckon with when it comes to woman’s formalwear. The founder Murat Dal, decided to innovate with the bland flavors of the office wear, and introduced ethnic flavors of work-of-the-art embroidery into the women’s formal apparel. The refreshingly embroidered formalwear is a brilliant mix of western sophistication and eastern ethnic mystique.
Idea is what any brand is all about! In the case of Maraley, the founder envisioned a confident working woman, who’s also in touch with her feminine side, and that’s where he decided to create the magnificent and unique range of attires. “Being passionate about this wild-hearted woman above, I work with her to realize her vision and to see her blossom through my modest help with the operational and marketing side where I have natural talents”, says Murat Dal.
Inspired by the silk route narrative of the ethnic communities, the designers at Maraley add a bit of ethnic exoticism to a dull formal suit. The idea is to add an element of feminine charm to a masculine formalwear, giving a balanced energy, that’s so absent in today’s workplace. The designer Mehri Babaveya elaborates further, “I believe in balance. The balance of feminine and male energies when woman feels whole and complete, the balance of male ambitiousness and female allurement, and the balance of traditional and non-traditional. Because our collection reflects that balance and that fusion, I lovingly call our creation the Yin and Yang of fashion.”
It’s interesting how the brand was able to experiment and succeed with the monotonous attire and bring a refreshingly new aspect. Another aspect that Maraley emphasizes and is strict about is the well-tailored fit of each dress. Whether it’s the exquisite embroidered blouse, a pencil skirt with embroidered belt, or a pretty formal black dress with embroidery, each piece is an exquisite work of art in itself, giving a Maraley woman a rare chance at looking her elegant self.
Maraley owes its inspiration to a self-motivated female icon who raced ahead in the traditional male dominated society. The design of each garment is dedicated to the revolutionary spirit of Maraley, who combined masculine will to succeed with feminine grace. “I believe every woman is unique, and she deserves to embrace her uniqueness through her talents, profession and her unique clothing style,” says Murat Dal, the founder of Maraley. The whole idea to pay respect to women is how the online store has got a huge success rate, and sees a lot of women going in the “Maraley” direction.
