Medical alert provider Rescue Alert of California™ recently announced its newest contest in which it will encourage the importance of healthy eating for seniors. The contest, entitled the “Recipe Sweepstakes”, will begin Monday January 14th, 2013 and will run for two weeks, ending on January 27th.

In the two-week period of the sweepstakes, entrants will be encouraged to submit their healthy senior recipes for the chance to win a gift card of $50 towards a choice of a number of grocery store chains.

“Senior health and safety is our top priority, and this recipe sweepstakes will help us spread the word about how important nutrition is in the realm of senior health” Said Lindsey Brewster of Rescue Alert of California. “We want to encourage our users, fans and subscribers to share their healthy recipes with us, so that we can share those recipes in turn, with many more seniors and caregivers.”

The sweepstakes will be run on Rescue Alert of California’s™ Facebook page, and will be open for two weeks beginning January 27th, 2013. Entrants are encouraged to send their own healthy recipe for seniors to Rescue Alert of California™ through the contest app in order to be considered for the $50 prize.
