Intuit Launches New QuickBooks Integration That Will Streamline Bookkeeping

Plans for new e-commerce integration was recently announced by Intuit claiming that it will streamline bookkeeping and automate data flows for online businesses.

With this announcement, Intuit, the leader in international software reveals its plan to integrate QuickBooks Online, its cloud accounting software, with Bigcommerce, an e-commerce platform. Many Scottsdale bookkeeping services will benefit from this scheme.

Based on the company statement released by Intuit, Bigcommerce will provide an online retailer and his QuickBooks contractor the tools to launch, promote, manage and scale an online store. This platform provides its users advanced features like accountant services for small business and enterprise-grade analytics.

This arrangement will enable accounting data to flow and be automatically updated for online business owners. It will then enable them to spend less time balancing their books and more time focusing on getting their business grow.

There is still no confirmation on its Australian launch, but Nicolette Maury, Intuit Australia’s managing director said that the integration is a demonstration of how Intuit is designing QuickBooks Online so that it can supply the unique requirements of the different types and sizes of small businesses.

“This integration will give back precious time to busy retailers by facilitating the automatic transfer of transactions from their web store to their QuickBooks Online account,” says Maury.

“It streamlines the bookkeeping process and provides a new level of business efficiency for online businesses,” she explains.

“Australians spent a massive $16.6 billion online in 2014, an increase of nine per cent on the previous year, so we know online retail is a thriving sector and spans businesses of all sizes,” Maury continues.

“We’re delighted to be joining forces with Bigcommerce and believe this integration will help online businesses thrive by making the accounting process seamless and invisible,” says Maury.

Bigcommerce is equally excited with the partnership. According to Melanie Kalemba, the company’s senior VP of sales and strategic business development, the integrations is the outcome of a shared vision that will provide first class expertise to its merchants.

“Bigcommerce is focused on bringing e-commerce to every retail business owner," says Kalemba.

"The retail industry functions online, in physical stores and everywhere in between, so together with Intuit, we’re working to connect those channels to make business more efficient,” she adds.
