OHIO, September 23, 2020 - She Boss Up Grant applications for women business owners opens September 21, 2020. The She Boss Up Grant program is an initiative to support women businesses in the U.S. facing economic hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic with financial relief to help them rise and thrive.

Women interested in this grant opportunity can apply by visiting www.shebossup.com. Applications are open September 21 - 25, 2020.

“She Boss Talk is committed to helping entrepreneurs and business owners who are grappling with the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic and the inequities in funding and resources for minorities and women businesses,'' said Shanté R. Roddy, founder of She Boss Talk. “The She Boss Up Grant application launch marks a critical step in giving women-owned small businesses a financial lifeline.”

Grant program eligibility includes:

- Business must be 51% women-owned and operated
- Business must be registered, located and operated in the United States
- Business must have been in existence and operation one year from September 21, 2020.
- Business must have 10 employees or less (includes solopreneurs)
- Have experienced challenges from COVID-19
- Plan to use the grant funds to support the business and the community

Women business owners will have the opportunity to apply to be a recipient of our relief award. A total of 12 micro-grants will be awarded. The official announcement of the awardees will be made on October 16, 2020, via the She Boss Talk website, newsletter and social media platforms.
