1. Create compelling content

Before you start producing content, you need to determine your target audience. We've talked about the importance of this before, but when it comes to creating content for your website, the importance of the target audience becomes even more apparent. For example, if you're selling T-shirts for kids, you wouldn't use serious and hard-to-understand language, or if you're selling insurance, you wouldn't talk about your services in a humorous way.

Consider your audience to decide what language to write, then start by writing your business story – how did you get here, why are you doing it, what is most important to you – and include that story in the Home and About us sections of your website. Answering these questions makes it easier for people to connect with your brand and can help convert website visitors into customers.

Then all you have to do is start writing product descriptions. But remember, writing compelling content takes more than just listing product features. Features are the elements that make up a product (eg color, texture, size), and benefits are “Why should I buy this?” gives the answer to the question.

In other words, the value of the products you sell to your customers is determined by their benefits.


Do not think that creating web content is too difficult. What you need to do is stay loyal to your brand, use keywords in the appropriate place, and think about your customers. And always and ALWAYS include the necessary calls to action.

2. Make your product images interesting

It is not wrong to say that a photo is worth a thousand words. Especially when it comes to selling on the internet… Since consumers cannot touch the products while shopping online in Bangladesh, they completely rely on your images and texts when making their purchasing decision.

You can try sending surveys to your customers to collect customer reviews, which is vital for e-commerce sites.

To get meaningful, authentic reviews, ask your customers questions like:

Why did you buy this product?
What problem did the product/service you purchased help solve?
How do you use this product?
What do you think of this product or business?
How often/when do you use this product?
Encourage your customers to detail and avoid yes/no questions. Of course, don't forget to state that you will share your views and get permission.
