Spicexpress, the cargo division of Spicejet operates its services from India to different countries including, Africa and other European and Asian Countries. It serves and connects more than 79 airports and has about 126 warehousing facilities in 54 cities in India.

In its effort in becoming a part of the evolving business ecosystem in India, it has entered into an international expansion plan. It ships freight to countries like the Middle East, Africa, Europe and another part of Asia from New Delhi India. Recently, Spicejet has agreed to start air cargo services from Vishakhapatnam as there is a huge potential of pharmaceutical products, seafood and other commodities from this city to different international destinations.

Spicejet is the first-ever Indian airline with dedicated cargo service. The Chairman and managing director of Spicejet, Ajay Singh is overwhelmed with the introduction of a dedicated freighter with Boeing 737 aircraft. During its launch, he said, “Spicejet believes that there is an enormous market for the air cargo services in India”.

In July 2019, Spicejet has been awarded the best domestic airline at the 12th International Conference of Civil Aviation and cargo services. Spicexpress, the cargo wing of Spicejet grows to be an integral part of the business ecosystem and ensures the highest standard of affordability, quality, and excellent customer service.
The cargo gets safely stored at every single step of the transit. A spokesperson from Spicexpress explained that “We are equipped with several unit load devices that help in protecting and storing all the goods at every single step of its way”. “We have the right pallets and the ULDs for a safe and secure journey of your live animals and dangerous goods as well”, he added. The warehouses of spicexpress in 39 Indian cities are well equipped to handle general goods, heavy equipment, and temperature-sensitive items like medicines and vaccines.
