Get ready for a scare, Atlanta. On Tuesday, April 21, from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m., indie horror film Sorrow will be screened at the historic Plaza Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia.

Writer and director Millie Loredo and members of the cast will be in attendance to participate in a follow-up Q&A.

The movie will begin at 7 p.m., and Loredo will introduce the film. She and Vannessa Vasquez, who plays Mila Sweeney in the film, will be in attendance to answer questions after the film concludes. Loredo is excited to screen the film at the historical landmark theater.

“It’s Atlanta’s oldest operating theater, what is cooler than that?” she said. “I also really like Atlanta and would love to shoot a film there one day with its amazing scenery.”

Sorrow follows the story of Mila Sweeney, a young woman who is kidnapped and tortured by deranged serial killers. She manages to escape in order to enact her own ingenious form of personal vengeance.

Loredo will be stopping by the Mad Monster Horror-Con in Charlotte, North Carolina on March 27-29 to promote the horror film and sell tickets to the Plaza Theatre screening there as well as online. Click here to order your ticket today!
