Get ready for a scare, Charlotte. On Thursday, April 23, from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m., indie horror film Sorrow will screen at the Carolina Crownpoint Theater.

Writer and director Millie Loredo and members of the cast will be in attendance to participate in a follow-up Q&A.
The movie will begin at 7 p.m., and Loredo will introduce the film. She and Vannessa Vasquez, who plays Mila Sweeney in the film, will be in attendance to answer questions after the film concludes. Loredo is excited to screen the film in Charlotte.

“I will be in Charlotte this weekend for Mad Monster Party Horror-Con, so what better place to screen the film than in a town that appreciates horror?” she said. “I want the fans that we meet at the convention to be able to watch the film, so we’ll be back in Charlotte next month.”

Sorrow follows the story of Mila Sweeney, a young woman who is kidnapped and tortured by deranged serial killers. She manages to escape in order to enact her own ingenious form of personal vengeance.

Loredo is optimistic that horror fans and independent film fans alike will appreciate her passion project. Click here to order your ticket for the screening today!
