In den Batteriezellen befinden sich Schutzmechanismen, die das Überladen verhindern. Die Voraussetzung dabei sollte natürlich ein funktionierender Handy-Akku sein. Daher stoppt aber normalerweise der Ladevorgang, sobald das Gerät vollständig aufgeladen ist oder die Temperatur zu hoch ist.
