6 September 2019 - The storm has passed. Florida has escaped the brunt of Dorian, and our attention turns toward those who did not. The horrific damage done to some parts of the Bahamas is complete. The Volunteer Ministers of the Churches of Scientology Disaster Response have been in action since before the storm made units mind to form an eye. There are over 2,000 Hygiene Kits ready to go and more being created daily.

While Dorian required monitoring in Florida, a Board member of Florida Volunteer Organizations Active in Disasters, participated in the coordination calls of that group from her seat in the Church of Scientology of Tampa.

And now we have internationally qualified search and rescue ready.

It is good for everyone involved to take some kind of action toward healing the wounds and putting order into chaos. I am sure most who see this are already finding ways to contribute. Something can be done!!
