Studies show that taking study breaks can increase your concentration. Taking a break every 45 minutes or so can improve attention and your ability to grasp concepts. However, what activities you partake in during these breaks also matter. Choosing the right activity can help you get back to studying refreshed and focused.

If you are preparing for an MBA entrance exam 2018, you will be engrossed in your final leg of preparations. Keep reading to see what activities you can do during your study breaks that will help you study and ultimately perform better in these exams.

Walk

Go out and get some fresh air. Even if you walk only for 10 minutes, it’s enough to feel re-energized. In fact, any form of exercise will be beneficial during your study break. The important part is to improve your blood flow.

Stretch:

Studying for an exam or an entrance test for getting an MBA from Symbiosis can be very stressful and your anxiety may result in your muscles being extremely tensed. Plus, when you study you are sitting in one place for a long period of time. Take the time to stretch your muscles so that you feel more relaxed before your next round of studying.

Clean:

You may find it difficult to focus if you are surrounded by clutter. Cleaning up during your study breaks can be relaxing unless you use it as an excuse to procrastinate.

Talk:

When you study, chances are you haven’t spoken to anybody for a while. Calling a friend can be productive in such a case. Having a conversation will help you take your mind of things at hand and you can return to your books relaxed and focused.

Shower:

Showering is perhaps the one activity that can make anyone feel energized. During your next study break, take a five to ten minutes long shower to revitalize your body and brain.

Errands:

If you are someone who has a lot on their to-do list chances are your mind is racing between your studies and your list of things to do. Running a quick errand will help you feel more relaxed. It will also help you focus since you won’t be worried about everything else you need to do.

When deciding the activity you want to do during your study break, you must remember that different people respond well to different methods. It’s important that any activity that makes transitioning back to your studies difficult is avoided. A study break is not an excuse to procrastinate. If you have already filled a MBA application form 2018 you are running out of time to prepare before your test in upon you. Therefore, it’s important to utilize your breaks to make studying more productive
