I enjoy a little sparkle throughout the year, but the holidays are the best time to go all out! Here, I wore a sequins-covered skirt, a warm sweater, a coat, and heels with a little more shine. It's one of my favorite methods to look even more festive for Christmas and New Year's gatherings and it makes for a lovely, classy, enjoyable look. A stunning statement necklace, a sequin shirt, or, if you want to go all out, the gorgeous dresses and jumpsuits I've highlighted below are other options to add glitter.

With Fur, You Can Never Go Wrong
I've always been a fur coat fan! Whether it has a full coat of fur or is only partially covered, as this coat from Abercrombie, with fur around the collar. I appreciate this coat's versatility and the fact that the collar can be taken off if you want to make it appear less fancy. But the focus of this blog post is on looking GOOD for the holidays! I adore how this monotone style is dressed up by the fur around the collar. Including a component and detail that is ideal for the holidays. A fur is also a fantastic option for any Winter wedding you may be having!

Christmas Screams on Velvet
Sincerely, I adore velvet all year long. Christmas and New Year's, however, are the ideal seasons to really let it loose! Due to its plush texture, velvet enhances the coziness and elegance of a gorgeous outfit. I adore the way the velvet feels on me in this dress from Red Dress. It has a very flattering fit and is available in a wide range of colors. The dress lays so beautifully on top and tucks in beneath the bust. This is one you'll adore! For a more understated appearance that still shouts Happy Christmas, add a top with a velvet bow.

Lace Is Wonderful
Because it is lovely and dainty for every style, lace is one of my all-time favorite looks. For a more dressy/casual outfit with jeans, an overcoat, and booties, I added it here. You can also choose to wear lace for a very elegant look with a dress or a silk skirt. That stunning option is perfect for the holidays as well as the rest of the year!

Silky!!
A silk dress or skirt coupled with a sweater is ALWAYS a look I like. I frequently wear it, and it's a simple way to recycle a silk dress that you could have worn to a wedding in the spring or fall. Wearing your bra over the dress and under the sweater is how I like to wear dresses with sweaters. The sweater will be tucked inside the bra. Your sweater won't hang too low and overpower the dress in this way. With this attire, I demonstrated it below. If the sweater is too thick, you can tuck it under the silk skirt like the monochromatic/fur combination pictured above or use the bra method.
