Executives throughout the world are most concerned about access to the crucial technical talent needed to expand the enterprises of the future. While this is the case, several engineering schools find it difficult to give their students real-world exposure to and experience using particular technology.
The Back to Campus programme of ThoughtFocus, a company fully committed to supporting the community and cultivating young talent, was introduced in 2021 with engineering campuses in India. The University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE), Bangalore, joined ThoughtFocus as a participant in this initiative at the start of 2022. The institution will provide a 30-hour course created by a group of ThoughtFocus topic matter experts through the strategic collaboration.
"It is an honour for me to be a part of this groundbreaking industry endeavour to develop and teach a full semester of AI coursework to better academically prepare our engineering graduates. It's always energising to return to college and interact with such enthusiastic, youthful people who are just beginning to pique one's interest, said Gireesh Sreedhar, Practice Head, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at ThoughtFocus. The partnership between ThoughtFocus and UVCE will continue throughout the year, and more universities will soon be included in the initiative.
