“Islamic art can be characterised by recurring motifs, such as the use of vegetal designs or geometrical floral patterns, or in a recurrence known as the arabesque, which is often found in my paintings. My artwork is therefore a pure reflection of my deep-rooted religion and includes various forms of Islamic art, including covers and casing for smart devices and cellphones that for example, depicts the image of the historical figure - Ertuğrul Ghazi. Not everyone necessarily enjoys the same art, and Islamic art is often used as Islamic home decorations. I am humbled by the fact that my Islamic art pieces can serve a good purpose,” Shabina said during a recent interview.
Shabina has been intrigued by Sufism and Shayk's from the onset of her life and growing up, she often expressed her thoughts through pencil drawings. Today, her paintings and artwork are distinguished from others, exclusively by how she expresses and depicts her passions for religion, and the way she draws spiritual inspiration from important historical figures and sacred places such as the Holy Kaaba and other mosques.
