September 2017 UAE: SearchInform has released the updated version of SearchInform DLP, which supports the integration with access control systems (ACS). Now the system provides a full report on the compliance of working hours and access mode adopted by a company.

ACS Integration provides the capability for matching ACS accounts with Active Directory accounts and, as a result, finding employees who, for example, arrive at the office on time, but spend several hours chatting and drinking coffee before they start working. The integration simplifies control of discipline at work and helps to investigate violations.

The data from the DLP system and ACS are brought together in the reports of the ProgramController module: Late arrivals, Early leaves, Worktime log, Timesheet (days), Timesheet (hours). Data comparison helps to reveal typical scenarios of the working rules violations. On the one hand, an employee is working on the computer, but there is no data on the arrival time in the ACS database. On the other hand, there is data on the arrival time in the ACS database, but no user activity is detected.
