LHA London, a UK-based charity that provides quality accommodation, encourages the spirit of voluntarism. The charity is ready to provide free accommodation for interested volunteers.

[London, 12/10/2014] – LHA London, one of the finest hostel operators in the UK, rekindles the fire of voluntarism amongst Londoners. The organisation has opened its premises to volunteers who want to help out in the operation of its hostels.

Free Shared Accommodation for Volunteers
LHA London is ready to provide free shared accommodation for volunteers, provided they can commit 20 to 22 hours of duties every week. Work may include roles in catering, housekeeping, night supervision, reception, and porter. Depending on the site, volunteers may also enjoy free meals.

Regardless of the duties, volunteers still have flexible schedules and living benefits similar to what the guests have. The organisation says volunteer work at the hostels provides an opportunity to expand their network, get CV-worthy training, and gain work experience. LHA London believes the volunteer service is also a great way to “make lifelong friends.”

13 Locations across London
Volunteers at LHA London may choose from 13 locations in terms of where they want to carry out their duties. There are: Belsize House, Belvedere House, Friendship House, Halpin House, Holland House, Leinster House, New Mansion House, and Railton House. The recently opened Torquay House is also open for volunteers. The Bowden Court, Davies Court, and Newington Court are viable locations as well.

The volunteer service is open for anyone over 18 years of age. Interested applicants may express their interest and send their curriculum vitae through email. The address is available at LHA London’s website.

About LHA London
