Sean Barley will swim the Bridge to Bridge Henley Swim Course on the Thames River to raise money for charity.

Sean Barley swims the Bridge to Bridge Henley Swim course on the Thames River regularly to improve his fitness, his health, and to raise money for the many charities he supports in his community. This year, Barley will yet again swim the Bridge to Bridge Henley Swim course on the Thames to continue the tradition. The Bridge to Bridge Thames Marathon is a 14-kilometer swim downstream on the Thames. It is an event for those, like Barley, who want to challenge themselves and raise money for charity.

The organizers of the Bridge to Bridge insist it’s not a race, simply a way to get exercise and for serious swimmers like Sean Barley to take in the beautiful scenery down the Thames. The event is organized in a group format, with a large emphasis being placed on teamwork. All swimmers are encouraged to help each other down the river and get stronger in the river. Many people come with their friends as swim teams to help themselves down the river and have fun in a team setting.

Sean Barley loves to stay in shape in many different ways. He goes to the gym regularly to play squash and train for his next distance race or swim. He has participated in many athletic events around the United Kingdom and the world. He completed the Cayman Islands Marathon in 2010 and several other races and charity runs since.

Sean Barley took over his father’s company, Nirvana Spa and Leisure, in 2012, after working for the company for most of his professional life. By experiencing things like swimming down the Thames River and traveling to the Cayman Islands has enhanced his eye for new and innovative spa and relaxation services for all of the Nirvana Spa facilities throughout Berkshire county and beyond. He has many years of designing spas and overseeing construction of spa facilities in the area and hasn’t been afraid to implement new services for the best luxury experiences in the South of England. He has filed for several new patents to add products like Dead Sea salt floatation pools to his facilities for Nirvana Spas.
