If you like exotic destinations and you want to enjoy sightseeing as well as shopping during your holiday, Dubai is the place where you want to go. This amazing place attracts more than ten million tourists each year, the number continuing to grow. That is because, whether you stay at a Jumeirah beach hotel or in another district, there are so many wonderful places to see and a lot of things to do for people of any age.
In Dubai, you can enjoy a great holiday without even going too far from the Jumeirah beach hotel where you are accommodated. Of course, it would be a pity not to see the numerous Dubai attractions, but you can have a great time for a couple of days around the hotel, until you regain your strength after the flight and you get over the jetlag. You can relax for one hour or so in your room, taking in the wonderful view of the Arabian Gulf. But don’t get too cosy and waste too much time indoors. It is outdoors that you will have the time of your life: you can start by relaxing by the pool and doing a little bit of swimming, practicing for scuba diving adventures you can enjoy at the centre near the hotel. If you have never done scuba diving, no worries: you can take lessons right there.
If you are on a family vacation, there is a lot of stuff you can do together with your children. Every Jumeirah beach hotel has kids’ centres, not to mention that the Wadi Water Park is very close. With rides for all ages, Wadi Water Park is definitely a place you don’t want to miss when you are in Dubai, especially if you are with your children. It is actually listed among the most popular Dubai attractions and that is because it is a place from where people leave with very fun and beautiful memories, with their energy refreshed and their mood boosted. And if that is not adventurous enough for you or if you are in for something more exotic, you can always try desert safari or desert camping. Sea kayaking and skydiving are two other options that might be of interest for those who want to do more than visiting, shopping and clubbing.
Nevertheless, going there on holiday and not visiting at least the most famous Dubai attractions would be a pity. The well-known and truly special Burj Al Arab is less than one kilometre away from a Jumeirah beach hotel. The Jumeirah Palm Island, as well as the Palm Jebel Ali are a little further, but worth seeing anyway. Besides these modern and spectacular buildings, there are also places with historical significance in Dubai. So, those who enjoy visiting cultural sites and who got tired after a all that swimming and scuba diving they should not miss the Bastakiya Quaters, the Dubai Museum or the Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum House. The Grand Mosque is worth seeing as well. All in all, there are lots of stuff to see and do in Dubai, many more than those suggested above. It is definitely the perfect holiday destination for those who want to have fun, enjoy outdoors activities and know to appreciate the mixture of cultures.
