Jumac draws a bumper response at CAITME 2018 with its complete range of spinning cans and accessories for the growing textile industry in Uzbekistan.

 
Jumac has been expanding its global footprint in recent years.
The decision to participate at CAITME 2018 Tashkent is a step in the right direction.
CAITME is the main exhibition of equipment and technologies and light industry, with
473 companies participating from 24 countries and sending 9000 professional
representatives including top managers and experts of textiles from all over the Central
Asian region.  
 
Jumac – the pioneer in spinning can manufacturing in India – received an
unprecedented response at the event where its presence in more than 18 countries
across 5 continents drew the attention of various business leaders and stakeholders. Its
strategy to leverage on skill, scale and speed along the lines of Make in India initiative
generated keen interest in the product line and the capacity to handle everything in-
house that enabled full control and monitoring of the process.  

 
CAITME 2018 was a key success for participating companies as it is the largest
professional exhibition in Central Asia and CIS with the active support of industrial

associations, with over 95% visitors recognised as industry experts. Textile equipment –
machinery for spinning – and technologies were also presented along with other product
range.
 
Uzbekistan's textile sector is one of the country's most important and dynamically
developing industries. There are more than 7000 enterprises operating in the light
industry. The volume of domestic processing of cotton fibre has gone up from 7% in
1991 up to more than 60% in 2017. According to industry experts, this share is projected
to reach 100% after 2020. This augurs well for the spinning can business.
 
Attracting new investments in combination with effective business management, the
operation of the most advanced equipment and technologies are the prime reasons for
the development and strengthening of export potential of Uzbekistan's textile and light
industry. In the years ahead, it will support the needs and demand in the modern high-
quality production and processing equipment and technologies from the world's best
manufacturers and brands. Till 2017, the industry has attracted more than $ 2.5 billion of
foreign investment.  
 
Jumac has through its participation ensured its readiness to play a transformative role.
Its portfolio has drawn the attention of several big players and the overall response has
been tremendous in terms of creating a buzz at the prestigious event. This is likely to
advance the overseas interests and strengthen its hold in the Central Asian region that
has a huge demand for spinning cans for the textile industry. The coming months will
witness the signing of major pacts and thereby give a big push to the manufacturing
behemoth.
