Samuel Holz is a veterinarian who practices in Houston, Texas. He attended Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2004. He started working at PetCare Unlimited shortly after graduating. Mr. Holz has always enjoyed working with animals and had many pets growing up. He is concerned about the overpopulation of cats and dogs and encourages pet owners to have their pets spayed or neutered for their own good.

Working as a veterinarian has been very rewarding for Samuel Holz and he has saved the lives of many animals. He has helped treat different diseases and illnesses and has even helped many pets give birth. Knowing that he is helping an animal and making that pet’s owner happy is his favorite part of the job. He always takes his time with each patient to make sure he knows exactly what is wrong and how to treat it. He also makes it a point to discuss treatment options with pet owners and let them know what they are up against.

One of the hardest parts of being a veterinarian is euthanizing a sick or elderly animal, but he knows that it is necessary to help prevent the pet from being in pain. He welcomes family members to be with their pets during this time and allows them to say their final goodbyes in private before he euthanizes the pet. He even allows the family to stay by the pet’s side until it passes.

In addition to helping care for sick or injured animals, Mr. Holz also trains dogs and board pets for short periods of time. He uses his skills and experience as a vet to give pets the best boarding experience possible and to train them in a safe and effective way. His loves seeing how excited pet owners are to see that their pet has learned basic obedience commands. Samuel Holz loves animals and has dedicated his life to working with them. He hopes to continue to help as many pets and pet owners as he can and help reduce dog and cat populations so fewer animals are subjected to neglect and abuse.
