Pune, 24th May, 2020: Bank of Maharashtra, a premier bank in the country, known for customer friendly services, has extended quick and hassle free loans at liberalised terms to overcome the problem of liquidity mismatch in meeting the day to day expenses and statutory dues by business enterprises. MSMEs, Agriculture, SHGs and Retail segments are extended additional loan assistance under the COVID 19 relief measures. Bank has sanctioned loans amounting to Rs 2789 crores under Agriculture, SHGs, Retail, MSMEs with almost 1 lakh beneficiaries between March 2020 and May 2020.
Proactively, BoM has initiated measures to increase the awareness amongst customers via webinars, SMS, email and telecalling by a dedicated team of professionals, one to one contact over phone by branches to assess and reach out the support facilities in tune with the bank's concept of 'one family'.
Now, the Bank has fully geared itself to extend the stimulus package announced by our Hon'ble FM to help restart the business activities.
