Sam Dason, DDS was selected for an evangelist role with the Swedish Union of Seventh-day Adventist Church, part of a larger religious organization that has a worldwide presence. As someone who grew up in South India as the child of a Seventh day Adventist Pastor, he had first-hand experience about the teachings of the church. These core values of the Adventist church have been instilled into him at a very young age, along with his three brothers and one sister. They spent a lot of time in the church growing up, listening to sermons and participating in the everyday life of the church, helping out wherever their help has been required.

The mission statement of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church includes a call to all people to embrace the teachings of Jesus Christ, and to proclaim the gospel associated with him while preparing the world for his impending return. The methods of the Church are based and guided by the general teachings of the Bible, and every member needs to be a devoted presence in the congregate, willing to take on an intermediary role to help others finding their inner devotion through traditional Christian values.

Sam Dason DDS has earned an Adventist role with the church, but because of his expertise, his duties were more diverse than the usual. These responsibilities have included health lectures and one on one council with the members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. His role has also required him to constantly ask questions, and to lead by example. As an Adventist, he has had to showcase a combination of great communication skills, discipline, being a good teacher and a humble servant of the cause.

As an evangelist, he has provided one on one council both to those who already found Jesus, and those who were yet to discover the Gospel. With a presence spanning over 200 countries around the world, Sam Dason, DDS has had a great responsibility to spread the message and help the Church reach new heights. In addition to his evangelist duties, he has also actively involved in various humanitarian and community efforts, another key element of the work done by Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
