With the introduction of Honor System, players won’t be able to purchase gear with Honor and Conquest currencies from PvP vendors any more. Rather, players who reach level 110 will earn Honor Points from arenas and battlegrounds, which is similar to how you earn experience from leveling up. Honor points will increase your Honor level to a maximum of 50. Along the way, players will also get special PvP-only talents. As Honor Levels are gained, you will unlock more and more talents to change up how you approach PvP gameplay.

Another significant change is that PvP-specific gear will be removed. Instead, you will get a pre-determined set of stats that's uniquely configured for your specialization. And the little contribution your gear makes is to increase your pre-determined PvP stats by 0.01% as your average item level increases one point. That means a 25 item level difference between two players only results in a 2.5% difference in stats compared to the current 25% difference. Blizzard explained that the removal of PvP specific gear will put players on a much more playing field, and help them to tweak balance more easily.
1. The end-of-season PvP awards will be given separately to the top percentages of players in each faction, instead of in relation to the overall player base. Thus, you can choose your preferred faction even if it is not the strongest one and still have a chance to get your shot at Gladiator.
2. There will be more frequent PvP seasons. Honor Level doesn't reset between the seasons, plus gear has little impact on it, you can start it any time without waiting some weeks to collect gears.
3. Once you reach the cap, your Honor Level will be reset and a Prestige Level will start there, giving you a badge on your nameplate, unit frames, and scoreboards, as well as a title, wearable faction pennant, Artifact skin, a mount, and pet.
4. Two new arena maps are being added in wow legion.
