Two new side quests added in ffxiv update 3.1

The patch features more contents for the game's main quest, but it also adds more features to explore on the side. Two new dungeons have appeared as well as new side quests: A normal mode Saint Mocianne's Arboretum that filled with dangerous plant demons who are taking over the abandoned building, and a hard mode Pharos Sirius, where you would go under its foundation and help Limsa Lominsa to defuse the threat by the enemies known as the Kobolds
New raid dungeon and area for battleground

In the battleground, you are getting a new alliance raid dungeon that called The Void Ark, which is a large ghost ship stranded in the sky. It's the setting for the new 24-player raid, and it holds secrets and treasures for the taking. Besides, a new group of islands for airship exploration - The Diadem has been added too. The area is full of resources for the taking, but it's also home to ferocious enemies.
New Trials: Minstrel's Ballad: Thordan's Reign

A new trial that called The Minstrel's Ballad: Thordan's Reign has been added. Just like in past trials, these missions feature a boss fight that requires players to band together as an eight-player team to effectively take it down. Note that it requires every person who joins in to reach Disciple of War or Magic level 60 and Average item level 190 or above.
Other updates included in ffxiv new expansion

Except for the new raid, quest and trail, there are many other additions, including a selection of new hairstyles for your character, flying mounts, such as bomb palanquin and draught chocobo, and a series of new weapons and recipes. Obviously, this is not the first of many updates to come for Heavensward, but the amount of content should keep players busy for the next few months.
