The activities of Edhi Foundation in Pakistan cannot be overemphasized. Our goal is to provide humanitarian services to thousands of victims affected by unfortunate circumstances of war and natural disaster. We perform our duty without any trace of discrimination concerning color, language, or religion.

Pakistan is one of the countries that have experienced the consequences of civil strife. As such, it happens to be the point of our focus as we work round the clock to ensure that victims of such circumstances get adequate relief and support. Our main work at Edhi Foundation is to extend help and assistance to needy persons when and where they need it. To achieve this goal we strive to put measures in place that can help us to counter the circumstances such as provision of ambulances during emergencies, distribution of relief food and clothes to affected victims of war, earthquake, or any other natural disaster.

Our experience shows that working for a humanitarian organization requires a deep and humble heart, to leave your personal needs and address the needs of others. We have worked with partner organizations and other groups to make this possible, with donations we get in terms of zakat and Lilah. This has made us to provide 24-hour emergency services to our clients, alleviate their suffering. Some of our activities include ambulance centres, 24-hour emergency service, and any other activity that aims at safeguarding human rights.

In our service, we uphold the sanctity of life and strive to protect and safeguard the basic rights of the victims involved in disasters. We carry out our duties to assist our clients without any inclination to their political or religious affiliation. We believe in the spirit of self-help and almost all our donations come from individuals such as you and me, and a few business enterprises that are willing to work with us.
