Saahas Zero Waste is a socio-environmental enterprise that follows the waste management where resources are been produced from waste. We started our enterprise in 2013 and are recognized as a Startup by the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Government of India.

We at Sahas Zero Waste, organize a zero waste program that includes waste audit and consultancy, awareness training, onsite waste management, and exchange program, Paper Shredding, Construction, and Demolition Waste. We are collection partner for recycling tetra pak, Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET), Multi Layered Plastic (MLP) etc.

By recycling with all the waste materials we produce different products like PolyAI roofing sheets, Chipboard, Gifting Products, E-waste bin, Stationery items, C folds and tissue rolls, bags, t-shirts, and organic compost and vermicompost. We offer waste management solutions to residences, offices, community, institutions etc.

What is Zero Waste Management Program?

Zero waste management is nothing but an approach to resource management that is centered on reducing, reusing and recycling. One of the benefits of zero waste management is producing recycled materials, using less energy, saving more trees rather than producing nonrenewable products.

Waste Audit –

Initially, doing with the waste audit at your location and recommending with infrastructure and operational requirements. It is an analysis of a waste stream and identifying with the types of recyclable materials and category recovered for recycling.

Waste Management Consultancy –

Saahas Zero Waste management provides waste management consultancy services following the certain core parameters for efficiently handling the waste with recycling and converting into the reusable resources.

• To achieve zero waste, we do in-depth study of any construction project and define important guidelines that can be helpful in managing the end construction waste.
• We design a waste management layout for any infrastructure development site.
• We design waste management flowchart with complete channel process to understand well for higher management as well for ground managers.
• This guideline also includes different types of waste streams like rotten or expired food expel, how to manage and remove demolished construction framework, hazardous and harmful garbage and chemicals to be handled in the most eco-friendly way etc.

Awareness Training for Waste Management

We at SZW, with our training and awareness sessions make seniors and school children aware of waste management for minimizing waste that will have less impact on the environment.

On-Site Waste Management –

• With our on- site management, wet waste and dry waste is been separated.
• Here, the wet waste is composed and the dry waste is prepared for recycling on the site itself.
• This waste management is done with simple process, firstly the waste is been collected, then separated as dry waste and wet waste.
• Then the process of recycling of waste is been done including low waste material.

Exchange Program –

With our exchange program, we offer recycled stationery products by exchanging large quantities of waste like shredded paper, newspaper and carton boxes.

Kasa Rasa Model

Waste is collected transported to nearest hub, where wet waste is converted to biogas and dry waste is prepared for recycling. This model is been designed for locations within 5km from the hub for small offices and apartments.

Paper Shredding

A large number of shredded papers are been recycled through a network of certified recyclers that ensures carbon footprint saving and resource recovery.

Construction and Demolition Waste (C&D)

We also help in managing the construction and demolition waste generated during construction, demolition of buildings, renovation etc. Some of the waste materials include wood, concrete bricks, roofing, landscape, and other waste.
