Bridgewater, N.J. (June 16, 2025) – JAG Physical Therapy, one of the fastest growing comprehensive physical and occupational therapy practices providing rehabilitative care to patients and sports teams in over 160 locations across the Northeast, announced today that Penn Therapy Associates has joined its growing team. Located at 2010 West Chester Pike #450, Havertown, PA 19083, this multispecialty clinic will now operate under the JAG Physical Therapy banner as its Havertown facility.
Originally founded in Broomall by Mark E. Reitz in 1984, and reformed in Havertown in 1999, Penn Therapy Associates built its foundation upon serving the greater Philadelphia area with high quality care for all orthopedic-related injuries, specializing in neck and back rehabilitation. Throughout decades of service, Penn Therapy Associates has focused on team growth and expanding its services to better serve the needs of patients with thorough, individualized care—a mission JAG Physical Therapy will uphold under its ownership.
“I first established Penn Therapy Associates with a commitment to ensuring that every patient deserves expert care. As a physical therapist myself, my team and I have upheld this mission over decades of service,” said Mark E. Reitz, PT, Founder of Penn Therapy Associates. “JAG Physical Therapy is founded on the same values and will continue providing the same dedication to quality care. Our patients and staff are in good hands.”
“We’re honored to carry on the outstanding legacy Mark established through decades of committed care to this community,” said John Gallucci Jr., President & CEO of JAG Physical Therapy. “We look forward to working with the clinic’s excellent team and offer more opportunities for growth and professional development with our residency programs, focus on sports and community partnerships, and expanded patient services. We’re focused on working together to increase the positive impact this facility will have on Havertown and the greater Delaware County community.”
Alphonso Berry has been with Penn Therapy Associates for over five years and will serve as Havertown’s Clinical Director. “The Penn Therapy and JAG Physical Therapy teams are aligned not only in our approach to patient care, but in healthcare advocacy, as we see the immense quality of life improvements that our services provide for our elderly patients in particular,” said Berry. “I’m excited to combine our teams’ shared passion and expertise, continuing to serve the community we love while exemplifying our patient-first values.”
With the addition of this eighth establishment in the greater Philadelphia region, JAG Physical Therapy is expanding its service reach throughout the area to deliver compassionate and comprehensive physical therapy services to the growing community.
